SSB Police Exam 2016 Full Details

SSB is going to invite online application For the post of

1.       HEAD CONSTABLES

2.       CONSTABLES

3.       ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTORS

                                                                     

There are total 766 vacancies have been issued by the board which are Described as follows:-

1.       For Assistant Sub Inspector- 43

2.       For Head Constables – 632

3.       Four Constables – 91

                                                                                             

The last date for receipt of applications is 20-06-2016 for all states Except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 27-06-2016 under Ministry of Home Affair.

                                                                                     

SSB Constable And SI Exam 2016                            

Eligibility Criteria And Age Limit For The Exam Is:

10+2 Or Intermediate with 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution or Equivalent.

The age limit Should be between 18 to 25 Years for open category applicants.

With an upper age limit relaxation as Under:

Five years  Relaxation in case of SC/ST (open) applicants

Three years in case of OBC candidates.

Eligibility for SSB Head Constable Vacancies- Age limit & Education Qualifications:

Matriculation or equivalent plus two years I.T.I. Certificate in Electronics

Or

Intermediate or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry And Mathematics from a recognized board

The age limit Should be between 18 to 23 Years for open category applicants.

With an upper age limit relaxation as Under:

Five years  Relaxation in case of SC/ST (open) applicants

Three years in case of OBC candidates.

Eligibility for SSB Constable vacancies- Age limit & Education Qualifications:

Exam syllabus is described as follows:

SSB Head Constable Syllabus is having General English/Hindi ,General Knowledge and  Science subject  for 100 marks. But in case of the SSB Constable Syllabus, the Written exam will be on General English/Hindi , General Knowledge and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Basic Electronics for 100 marks. The Syllabus for SSB Constable and Assistant Sub Inspector Exam is same.

SSB Syllabus for ASI (Telecommunication) and Head Constable (Telecommunication):

1. General English/Hindi  : 25 marks

2. General Knowledge  : 25 Marks

3. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Basic Electronics : 50 Marks

SSB Head Constable Syllabus :

1. General English/Hindi : 25 Marks

2. General Knowledge : 25 Marks

3. Science Subject :  50 Marks         

                                                            

Selection procedure of The exam is  given as follows:

1. Document verification ,

2. Physical standard test (PST)

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

4. Written test,

5. Medical examination
